Ukrainian state corporation for transport construction «Ukrtransstroi»
Corporation «Ukrtransstroi», created by decree of Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine in 1992, is one of the largest construction operator in Ukraine (it comprises 53 organi-zations, with more than 11 thousand employees). Some of its enterprises have 40 years experience in Ukraine and abroad.
The Corporation built and electrified practically the entire network of railways in Ukraine and has designed and built railways in Guinea, Iran, Iraq, in the Syrian Arab republic. Other projects completed were the recreation centre «Ukraine» in Kyiv, the central railway station and Boryspil airport, sea ports in Odesa, Illichivsk, Mykolayiv and ferry-crossings Illichivsk - Varna, Illichivsk - Poti.
The company sees promising prospective collaborations with foreign partners, such as:
  • The Construction and electrification of railways with automatics and communications, from design and research to «turn-key» commissioning; construction of second tracks and rehabilitation of railways;
  • The Construction, rebuilding of airports and aerodromes including runways;
  • The Construction and repair of motor roads;
  • The Construction of sea ports, terminals and port facilities;
  • Dredging and refilling;
  • The Construction and rebuilding industrial facilities and civil housing;
  • Research and design.
