On February 26 - March 4, 2002, Chairman of the BC UkrAsiaBuild Board of Directors, S.A. Farenik, and Vice Chairman of the Board, O.I. Nezdolya, visited Iceland.

The delegation also included representatives of the LKS Limited and of the open JSC "Dnister hydroelectric power plant".

During the visit, meetings were organized with Permanent State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iceland, Mr. Sverrir Gaukur Gunnalaugsson; advisor of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Benedict Geskuldsson; and Head of the Trade Council of Iceland, Mr. John Asbergsson.

Trade Council of Iceland together with the Chamber of Commerce of Iceland organized negotiations between the Ukrainian delegation and representatives of Icelandic companies.

During the negotiations, the Ukrainian businessmen became familiar with activities of more than 20 Icelandic companies.
